Who We Are

We are a bunch of imperfect people serving a perfect God. We exist to be a safe place where people from all walks of life can come and experience God.

You can belong here even before you believe.

We Want You To Feel At Home

We are passionate about making you feel welcome.  Whether it’s in the parking lot, the sanctuary, or the Kid’s Zone, we want you to feel right at home.

It’s All About Jesus

Our team spends countless hours praying and preparing for you to encounter Jesus and know Him more personally than before.

Love God. Love People. Make Disciples.

At Celebration Center our mission is to follow the Great Commandment and the Great Commission (Matthew 28:19-20). We believe that this will result in endless sons and daughters.

The Vision is HOW we fulfill the Mission in our culture and community today.

Gather. Grow. Go.

Celebration Center exists to GATHER people to God and His body of believers, provide a place where they can GROW as disciples, and equip them to GO in the love and power of Jesus Christ.

The vision of the church is implemented through every effort put forth by the Pastors and the church leaders.

What We Believe

The inspired Holy Scriptures - The Bible

We believe the Bible is verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, the infallible revelation of God to man.II Tim.3:16-17, II Pet.1:20-21

Core Value Regarding Marriage

We believe marriage is a sacrament, an ordinance and rite of the Church.  It has been established and instituted by God.  This church defines “marriage” as the exclusive covenantal union of one man and one woman in which such union is a lifetime commitment.  A civil government’s sanction of a union will be recognized as a legitimate marriage by the church only to the extent that it is consistent with the definition of “marriage” found in these Articles.

Gen 1:26-28, Gen 2:18-24, Eph 5:22-33, , Matt 19:4-6, Mark 10:6-9

One Living and True God

We believe there is only one true, eternal God revealed in three persons; Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Gen.1:1,26, Deut.6:4, Isa. 43:10-11, Mt.28:19

Core Value Regarding Human Sexuality

We believe legitimate sexual relations are exercised solely within marriage.  Hence, sexual activities outside of marriage (referred to in the New Testament as “porneia”) including but not limited to, adultery, premarital sex, homosexuality, and pedophilia are inconsistent with the teachings of the Bible and the Church.  Further, lascivious conduct, transgender behavior, and the creation and/or distribution and/or viewing of pornography, are incompatible with the biblical witness.

Lev 18:22, Rom 1:26-28, 1 Cor 6:9-10, 1 Cor 6:13-20, Rev 21:8

Life Recovery

Life Recovery is a place to find help and hope for anyone 18 or older who is looking for a pathway to freedom from addiction or other destructive habits. All Life Recovery material is Christ centered and modeled after AA’s time-tested 12 steps which have helped millions in Recovery.

While sobriety and abstinence are good goals…freedom is better. We believe freedom comes through relationship with Jesus, the highest power. We believe relationships with others is essential as well. We draw from each other’s strengths and help one another in our struggles.

For that reason our meetings begin with fellowship. This is followed by worship where the atmosphere changes and hope fills the room. We then have a topic followed by small groups.

These are open meetings. If you need freedom, come. If someone you know needs freedom, bring them.

Meetings: Thursdays from 7pm-8:30pm with doors opening at 6:30pm for fellowship. Childcare is available.

Celebration Center School of Ministry (CCSOM) has been established to help equip people to represent Jesus while living their lives. CCSOM offers discipleship training, leadership development, and supernatural ministry impartation and application. We aim to provide education and training for each individual who desires to be a part of a team to win the lost and connect them to a growing body of believers. Our goal is to produce more leaders of positive influence who will serve the body of Christ and go reach the end time harvest.

Why Is It Part of Celebration Center?

Men's Ministry

Celebration Center’s Men’s Ministry is called Man UP and exists to help men discover Jesus and follow Him fully through the following actions:

  • Honoring our wives and children
  • Creating opportunities for fellowship
  • Teaching personal accountability
  • Encouraging ongoing discipleship
  • Faithfully Doing Community Service & Outreach

We believe that strong male leadership is vital to the growth of a healthy church. Too many men are sitting on the sidelines, unsure of their spiritual gifts or how to use them. We exist to help them on that journey.

“..Remember the Lord, who is great and awesome, and fight for your families, your sons and your daughters, your wives and your homes.”

-Nehemiah 4:14

We want to see women of all ages anointed by God and released to fulfill their destiny. As well as find her place in Women’s Ministries. We believe in women-their effectiveness in ministry, their influence in the home, and their power in the workplace. Our desire is to encourage every woman in her journey and provide meaningful opportunities for discipleship while bridging the gap for the next generation.

At Celebration Center we want you to experience firsthand what God is doing for all of us. We are active partners in the community and are involved in many events. This means there are a LOT of opportunities for you to serve alongside with us!

Connection Center

We want people to have an incredible experience at Celebration Center. Being part of the Connect Ministry Team means you take part in creating an atmosphere where people can meet our God by helping to connect visitors to the church as well as distribute information and answer questions.

Celebration Center Kids

We have an incredible ministry serving the kids of Celebration Center. This is one of our areas with the most opportunities to serve. As a Celebration Center volunteer in our kids’ ministry, you are raising the future of the Celebration Center family in a way that honors God. Our youth and children’s ministries also offer our visitors peace of mind that their children are in great hands with us. We want to share the joy of teaching these kids. This ministry has incredible eternal significance and we would love it if you would partner with us in raising these kids to know and love God. All volunteers are required to complete a background check.

Prayer & Connect Groups

In Luke 11:1, the disciples begged Jesus to teach them to pray. Two thousand years later, Christ-followers continue to ask the same question.
  • Modesto Campus Wednesday Night All Church Prayer: 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm.  Everyone Welcome.
  • Men’s Prayer Breakfast: The last Saturday of each month at 9:00 am – 10:30 am in the Modesto Chapel. Open to all men.
  • Pre-Service Prayer: Held weekly before service every Sunday morning at 8:00 am – 8:30 am, 9:30 am – 10:00 am, & 11:00 am – 11:30 am in the prayer room. Open to all.
  • Altar Prayer: Every Sunday anyone may come forward for prayer by pastors and leaders.

Genesis 12:2 – I will make you a great nation; I will bless you and make your name great; and you will be a blessing.  Our pastors teach that we are to be a person of blessings, bringing hope and Christ to others. When praying, we as true intercessors, ask for God’s mercy for those who do not know Him or on circumstances that do not reflect His kingdom. They quote that “A curse can be broken but a blessing can never be retrieved.”

Connect Groups

Life is not meant to be lived alone. You were created to experience life with other people, and that’s why at Celebration Center, we encourage you to get into a Connect group.
  • We would love to connect you with a group where you will:
  • Meet new people
  • Get to know each other
  • Fellowship with others
  • Pray with others
  • Learn more about Jesus
  • Grow together

Connect Groups meet Wednesday nights from 7:11pm-8:11pm. Childcare provided.

Encounter Weekends

Our Weekend Encounters are held semi-annually and begin on a Friday at 6:15 p.m. at Celebration Center, Modesto. The participants go home Friday night and return at 6:45 a.m. on Saturday and concludes Saturday night at 10:30 p.m.
